Description

The Knightsbridge FL16AW is a 16W twin spot LED security light with a built-in 180° PIR motion sensor mounted in a white polycarbonate body. Two independently adjustable die-cast aluminium spotlight heads each house an 8W SMD LED array, delivering a combined 1300 lumens at 5000K daylight white across an 85° beam angle.

Designed for residential and light commercial outdoor security lighting, the unit mounts to exterior walls above doorways, driveways, side gates and garden paths where motion-activated illumination is needed. The PIR sensor detects movement up to 10 metres away and triggers the LEDs for a duration set by the adjustable time control (typically 10 seconds to several minutes). The lux control adjusts the ambient light threshold at which the sensor activates, preventing the light from triggering during daylight hours.

The IP55 rating protects against low-pressure water jets and dust ingress, making the fitting suitable for exposed outdoor locations in the UK climate. The white polycarbonate main body houses the PIR sensor and wiring connections, while the die-cast aluminium spotlight housings resist corrosion and provide rigid positioning once aimed. The quick-installation backing plate allows the light to be pre-wired and then plugged into the wall-mounted base, simplifying replacement or maintenance.

The 5000K colour temperature produces a bright, neutral-white light that renders colours accurately for security camera footage and outdoor task visibility.
