The fitting delivers 1020 lumens at 6000K daylight white through an opal polycarbonate diffuser, replacing traditional 28W 2D bulkheads at half the power consumption. The sensor includes a slave terminal that allows multiple bulkheads to be synchronised, so that detection by one unit switches all connected fittings simultaneously.

Designed for commercial corridors, stairwells, plant rooms, external building entrances and covered car parks, the bulkhead carries an IP44 rating that protects against splashing water from any direction. The polycarbonate body and acrylic diffuser resist impact and UV degradation in both indoor and sheltered outdoor applications. The 291mm diameter and 97mm projection suit standard ceiling and wall mounting positions, and the fitting operates directly from 230V mains with no external driver required.

The microwave sensor detects motion through non-metallic barriers including the diffuser itself, providing more reliable detection than passive infrared sensors in cold environments or where dust buildup might affect a PIR lens. The 115-degree beam angle provides wide, even coverage across a space, and the Class II double-insulated construction means no earth connection is required during installation. The fitting is non-dimmable and runs a 60,000-hour L70B50 rated LED with a CRI above 80.

Optional coloured bezel trims are available separately to customise the appearance for wayfinding, zoning or branding purposes in commercial settings. The white finish of the base unit pairs neutrally with most commercial ceiling and wall finishes.
