Description
The Knightsbridge FP6300PC is a 13A switched fused spur unit with a polished chrome flat plate and an integrated fuse holder. The unit provides a switched connection point for hard-wired appliances such as extractor fans, boilers, water heaters and kitchen appliances, allowing them to be isolated without needing to access the consumer unit.
Designed for residential and light commercial installation, the unit requires a standard 25mm minimum back box depth and sits virtually flush with the wall — the flat plate projects just 2.5mm from the mounting surface. The built-in gasket seals the plate against the wall, preventing dust ingress behind the faceplate and giving a clean finish on plastered or tiled surfaces. The switch isolates the fused circuit when in the off position, and the fuse holder accepts a standard 13A BS 1362 cartridge fuse.
The polished chrome finish is applied to premium-grade steel, giving the unit a reflective surface that pairs with chrome taps, handles and other metallic fittings in kitchens and bathrooms. The flat plate design sits level with the wall rather than standing proud like traditional raised faceplates, suiting contemporary interiors where minimal projection is preferred. Certified to BS 1363-4 and backed by a 25-year warranty.

Frequently Asked
What is a fused spur unit used for?
A fused spur provides a switched and fused connection point for hard-wired appliances such as extractor fans, boilers, electric water heaters, hand dryers and kitchen appliances. It allows the appliance to be isolated locally without accessing the consumer unit, and protects the circuit with a replaceable 13A fuse.
What back box depth is required?
A standard 25mm minimum back box depth is needed. The flat plate projects just 2.5mm from the wall once installed, making it one of the lowest-profile fused spur designs available.
Does it have a neon indicator?
No. This model does not include a neon indicator. If a visible indication of the switch state is required, Knightsbridge produces alternative models in this range with built-in neon indicators — use the search function or filters to find neon-equipped variants.
What other finishes are available in the Flat Plate range?
Knightsbridge produces the Flat Plate series in a range of finishes including polished chrome, brushed chrome, polished brass, antique brass, matt black and white. Use the filters or search to find other finishes in stock at Niori.
