Description

The Knightsbridge 13A switched fused spur unit provides switched isolation and fuse protection for fixed appliances behind an antique brass screwless faceplate. The unit takes a standard 13A fuse cartridge and allows an appliance such as a cooker hood, bathroom heater, or wall-mounted oven to be switched off without needing to access the consumer unit.

Designed for installation in kitchens, utility rooms, bathrooms and offices where fixed appliances need local isolation, the fused spur fits a standard 25mm minimum back box depth and uses a screwless cover plate that clips onto a separate metal sub-frame. This means there are no visible screws or fixings on the wall once installed, giving a cleaner finish than traditional screw-fixed plates.

The 201 stainless steel faceplate is finished in antique brass, giving a warm aged-metal appearance that pairs well with traditional, classical and warm-toned contemporary interiors. The screwless plate includes a built-in gasket to reduce dust ingress and the unit carries BS 1363-4 certification. Knightsbridge backs the fitting with a 25-year guarantee.
