Description

The Knightsbridge 13A fuse holder module is a single-width grid module designed for the Curved Grid System, providing front-mounted appliance protection with a replaceable 13A fuse. Built from white thermoset resin, the module clips into a grid frame and sits flush with surrounding switches and sockets in the same range.

Used primarily for appliance protection circuits in kitchens, utility rooms and commercial installations, the fuse holder isolates individual appliances from the main circuit and allows a blown fuse to be replaced without accessing the consumer unit. The front-mounted design means the fuse can be changed from the room side without removing the grid plate or re-wiring.

The 25mm width occupies one grid position within a standard Knightsbridge Curved Grid frame, which holds up to six single-width modules. The module requires a 35mm minimum mounting box depth and carries IP20 ingress protection for indoor use. The white finish matches other modules in the Curved Edge range, and the thermoset resin construction has been tested to ISO 22196:2011 for anti-microbial properties.
