Description

The Knightsbridge CU9965 is a 13A 2-gang single-pole switched socket with two USB-C charging ports rated to deliver up to 65W combined power, or a full 65W from a single port when charging one device. The USB-C ports support USB Power Delivery (USB-PD) and Programmable Power Supply (PPS) protocols, allowing adaptive fast-charge for compatible laptops, tablets and smartphones including iPhone 15 and later models.

Designed for residential, office and hospitality installation, the socket fits a standard 35mm minimum back box depth and uses a white thermoset resin faceplate with rounded edges. The outboard rocker switches sit proud of the faceplate for clear visual indication of on/off status, while captive terminals accessed from the top of the socket body simplify first-fix wiring. Twin earthing points provide redundancy in high-use commercial environments.

The white finish carries an anti-microbial coating tested to third-party standards, reducing surface bacterial buildup between cleaning cycles in shared or high-touch spaces. The 7mm overall depth from wall to faceplate front keeps the socket profile low on kitchen splashbacks, office desks and bedside installations. Built-in overheat and overload protection cuts power to the USB ports if thermal limits are exceeded, protecting both the socket and the connected device.

The single-pole switching isolates the live conductor when off, suitable for most residential and light commercial applications.
