Description

The Knightsbridge SFR194BCG combines a 13A 2-gang double-pole switched socket with an aperture for four 25x50mm Euro modules behind a brushed chrome screwless faceplate with grey insert. The dual-pole switching isolates both live and neutral lines when the socket is switched off, while the module aperture accepts standard Euro inserts for satellite, telecoms, networking, HDMI, USB charging or data connections.

Designed for residential AV setups, home office installations and hotel rooms where power and data need to be consolidated in one location, the plate measures 180mm x 147.5mm and replaces a double-gang aperture. The screwless cover clips onto a separate metal sub-frame fixed to the back box, leaving no visible fixings on the wall once installed. The 13A rating on each socket outlet handles standard UK appliance loads up to 3,120W per outlet.

The brushed chrome finish provides a cool metallic accent that pairs with modern, industrial and monochrome interiors. The grey insert behind the faceplate defines the aperture edges and module positions without introducing colour contrast. The premium-grade steel construction gives the plate a 21.2mm recessed depth when fitted, with just 4.5mm projection from the wall. Euro modules are sold separately and clip into the four apertures without tools, allowing the configuration to be changed or upgraded after installation. The aperture accepts standard 25x50mm Euro modules from Knightsbridge and most other manufacturers. Common modules include satellite F-type, RJ45 networking, HDMI, coaxial TV, phone, USB charging and blanking plates. Modules are sold separately and clip in without tools.

What back box depth is required?

A double-gang 35mm minimum back box depth is needed for safe installation. The 21.2mm recessed depth of the plate mechanism plus the 4.5mm projection of the screwless faceplate means the total wall projection once fitted is minimal.

Can the module configuration be changed after installation?

Yes. Euro modules clip into the apertures without fixings and can be removed or swapped by hand. This allows the plate configuration to be changed or upgraded without re-wiring or replacing the faceplate.

Is the screwless plate removable for redecorating?

Yes. The brushed chrome cover clips onto a separate metal sub-frame fixed to the back box. The cover can be removed for painting or wallpapering around the socket and re-clipped without disturbing the wiring or modules.
