Description

The Knightsbridge 13A 2-gang DP switched socket provides two independently switched 13A outlets with twin earth terminals behind a polished chrome screwless faceplate with a grey insert. The double-pole switching isolates both live and neutral lines when each outlet is switched off, providing additional safety over single-pole switching for high-draw appliances.

Designed for residential, commercial and hospitality installation, the socket fits a standard 25mm minimum back box depth and uses a screwless cover plate that clips onto a separate metal sub-frame. This means there are no visible screws or fixings on the wall once installed, giving a cleaner finish than traditional screw-fixed plates. The twin earth terminals provide two separate earth connection points, required in some high-integrity earthing systems and preferred in installations where multiple circuits share a back box.

The polished chrome finish provides a bright metallic accent that pairs well with contemporary, modern and industrial interiors. The grey insert behind the chrome faceplate hides the back of the cover plate and gives a defined edge to each outlet aperture.
