The Knightsbridge 13A 2-gang DP switched socket adds twin earth terminals behind a brushed chrome screwless faceplate with a white insert. The double-pole switching isolates both live and neutral lines when the socket is switched off, providing additional safety over single-pole switching for high-draw appliances. The twin earth terminals support installations where high-integrity earthing is required, typically in professional, laboratory or medical settings where earthing redundancy matters.

Designed for residential, commercial and institutional installation, the socket fits a standard 25mm minimum back box depth and uses a screwless cover plate that clips onto a separate metal sub-frame. This means there are no visible screws or fixings on the wall once installed, giving a cleaner finish than traditional screw-fixed plates. The 13A rating handles standard UK appliance loads up to 3,120W per outlet, and the socket is certified to BS 1363:2.

The brushed chrome finish provides a neutral metallic accent that pairs well with modern, industrial and cool-toned contemporary interiors. The white insert behind the chrome faceplate hides the back of the cover plate and gives a defined edge to each outlet aperture.
