The Knightsbridge 13A 2-gang DP switched socket provides two 13A outlets with individual double-pole switches, a twin earth terminal configuration, and a black nickel screwless faceplate with black insert. The double-pole switching isolates both live and neutral lines when the socket is switched off, providing additional safety for high-draw appliances compared to single-pole designs.

Designed for residential, hospitality and commercial installation where a darker metallic finish is required, the socket fits a standard 25mm minimum back box depth and uses a screwless cover plate that clips onto a separate steel sub-frame. This means there are no visible screws or fixings on the wall once installed, giving a cleaner finish than traditional screw-fixed plates. The twin earth terminals provide enhanced earthing capability for circuits requiring additional earth bonding or where multiple earth connections need to be made at the socket position.

The black nickel finish is a dark gunmetal tone that sits between polished chrome and matt black, providing a warmer metallic accent than stainless steel while remaining neutral enough to pair with both warm and cool colour schemes.
