Description

The Knightsbridge 13A 2-gang DP switched socket adds two USB-C fast charge ports behind a brushed chrome screwless faceplate with a white insert. Each USB-C port delivers up to 65W output (20V DC 3.25A) when used alone, or 45W and 18W when both ports are in use simultaneously, providing enough power for laptops, tablets and smartphones through USB-PD and PPS charging protocols.

Designed for residential kitchens, home offices, commercial workspaces and hospitality environments where device charging is frequent, the socket fits a standard 25-35mm back box depth depending on wiring conditions. The dual-pole switching isolates both live and neutral lines when switched off, giving additional safety over single-pole switching for high-draw appliances. The screwless cover plate clips onto a separate metal sub-frame, leaving no visible screws or fixings on the wall once installed.

The brushed chrome finish is a 201 stainless steel faceplate with a directional satin grain that softens reflections and pairs cleanly with modern and contemporary interiors. The white insert behind the faceplate hides the back of the cover and gives a defined edge to each outlet aperture. Built-in overload, overheat and overcurrent protection guard both the USB-C circuitry and the 13A mains outlets, with CAT III overvoltage protection rated for professional installation environments.

For optimal fast-charge performance, use certified USB-C cables rated at 100W or higher. The socket carries a 2-year manufacturer guarantee and an IP20 rating for indoor dry-location use only.
