The Knightsbridge 13A 2-gang DP switched socket adds two USB-C fast charge ports behind a brushed chrome screwless faceplate constructed from 201 stainless steel. Both USB-C ports support USB Power Delivery (PD) and Programmable Power Supply (PPS) protocols, allowing compatible devices to negotiate the fastest safe charging rate up to a combined 65W output across both ports.

Designed for residential, hospitality and office installation where multiple devices need simultaneous charging, the socket fits a standard 25mm-35mm back box depending on wiring conditions and uses a screwless cover plate that clips onto a separate metal sub-frame. The double-pole switching isolates both live and neutral lines when the socket is switched off, providing additional safety over single-pole switching for high-draw appliances. The 13A rating handles standard UK appliance loads up to 3,120W per outlet.

The brushed chrome finish provides a satin metallic surface that resists fingerprints and pairs comfortably with both contemporary and traditional interiors. The plate measures 147.5mm wide by 87.5mm tall with a 9.7mm wall projection once fitted, giving a low-profile presence that sits close to the wall. Built-in overload, surge and thermal protection prevents damage to connected devices if the USB ports experience a voltage spike or sustained high-temperature operation.
