The Knightsbridge 13A 2-gang DP switched socket adds two USB-C fast charge ports behind an anthracite screwless metal faceplate. Each USB-C port supports USB Power Delivery (USB-PD) and Programmable Power Supply (PPS) protocols, delivering up to 65W through a single port or a shared 45W/18W split when both ports are in use simultaneously. The dual-pole switching isolates both live and neutral lines when the socket is switched off, providing additional safety for high-draw appliances.

Designed for residential, office and hospitality installations where USB-C charging infrastructure is needed without running separate desk chargers, the socket fits a standard 25-35mm back box depending on wiring conditions. The screwless cover plate clips onto a separate metal sub-frame, eliminating visible screws or fixings from the wall once installed. The 13A rating handles standard UK appliance loads up to 3,120W per outlet, while the USB-C ports handle laptops, tablets, smartphones and other USB-C devices.

The anthracite finish is a dark grey metal that sits between matt black and gunmetal, pairing cleanly with industrial, contemporary and monochrome interiors. The SPCC steel construction provides a 4.3mm plate depth with a 9.7mm total projection from the wall. Built-in protections against overload, overheat and short-circuit are integrated into the USB-C charging circuitry.
