This Knightsbridge 13A 2-gang DP switched socket adds one USB-C port (up to 27W) and one USB-A port (up to 18W) behind an antique brass screwless faceplate. The dual-pole switching isolates both live and neutral lines when the socket is switched off, providing additional safety for high-draw appliances. The USB-C port supports fast-charge protocols including USB-PD and Qualcomm Quick Charge, with intelligent voltage switching up to 20V DC at 2.25A.

Designed for residential, hospitality and commercial installation, the socket fits a standard 25-35mm back box (depth depends on wiring conditions) and uses a screwless cover plate that clips onto a separate metal sub-frame. The 13A rating handles standard UK appliance loads up to 3,120W per outlet. The combined 45W USB output allows simultaneous charging of a tablet and smartphone without needing separate plug adaptors.

The antique brass finish is applied to 201 stainless steel, giving a warm aged-bronze tone that pairs with traditional, classical and heritage interiors. The screwless design hides all fixings behind the cover plate for a cleaner wall finish than traditional screw-fixed sockets. The plate measures 147.5mm wide by 87.5mm high with a 9.3mm projection from the wall once fitted, making it flush with most skirting boards and architraves.

A 25-35mm back box depth is needed depending on cable bulk and wiring configuration. The screwless cover plate adds 9.3mm of projection from the wall once fitted. For tight installations or retrofit work, the deeper 35mm back box is recommended.
