Description
The Knightsbridge small multimedia combination plate pairs a 13A 2-gang DP switched socket with four Euro module apertures behind a brushed chrome screwless faceplate with a black insert. The dual-pole switching isolates both live and neutral when the socket is off, giving additional safety for high-draw appliances. The four module apertures accept standard 50x25mm Euro modules — satellite, DAB, telecom, data, HDMI, USB or audio — allowing the plate to combine power and signal distribution in a single fitting.
Designed for home offices, AV installations, renovation projects and modern residential builds where power and connectivity need to be centralised without running separate faceplates, the plate fits a 35mm minimum back box depth. The screwless cover plate clips onto a separate metal sub-frame, leaving no visible screws or fixings once installed. The 13A rating per outlet handles standard UK appliance loads up to 3,120W, while the module apertures provide futureproof flexibility to change signal types without rewiring the back box.
The brushed chrome finish provides a neutral metallic accent that pairs with both cool-toned and warm-toned interiors, while the black insert behind the faceplate hides the back of the cover plate and gives defined edges to each socket and module aperture. The premium-grade steel construction gives the plate a 4.5mm low-profile projection from the wall once fitted, and the IP20 rating confirms suitability for dry indoor locations. Knightsbridge backs the fitting with a 25-year warranty.

Frequently Asked
What Euro modules are compatible?
The four apertures accept standard 50x25mm Euro modules from most UK manufacturers. Common options include satellite coax, CAT6 data, HDMI, USB-A, USB-C, 3.5mm audio, BT/RJ11 telecom, and optical audio. Modules are sold separately and clip into the apertures behind the faceplate.
What back box depth is required?
A 35mm minimum back box depth is needed to accommodate both the socket mechanism and the Euro module inserts. The screwless cover plate adds 4.5mm of projection from the wall once fitted.
Can the modules be changed after installation?
Yes. The screwless cover plate clips off the sub-frame without disconnecting the wiring. Euro modules can then be removed from the apertures and replaced with different module types as connectivity needs change.
Is the screwless plate removable for redecorating?
Yes. The cover plate clips onto a separate metal sub-frame fixed to the back box. The cover can be removed for painting around the socket and re-clipped without re-wiring or disturbing the Euro module inserts.
