Description

The Knightsbridge SFR992LSB is a 13A 2-gang DP switched socket combined with a 2-gang modular aperture and dual USB fast charge ports (one USB-C, one USB-A) behind a smoked bronze screwless faceplate with a black insert. The dual-pole switching isolates both live and neutral lines when the sockets are switched off, and the modular aperture accepts two 25x50mm Euro modules or one 50x50mm module for data, AV, or additional charging connections.

Designed for high-end residential, hospitality and commercial environments where power, data and USB charging need to be grouped at a single wall point, the combination plate suits workstations, kitchen islands, bedside walls and media zones. The USB fast charge output delivers 5V DC at 4.0A shared between the two ports, with support for USB Power Delivery and Quick Charge protocols to reduce charging times for compatible devices. The 13A rating handles standard UK appliance loads up to 3,120W per outlet.

The smoked bronze finish provides a warm metallic tone with a subtle antiqued patina that pairs with brass, copper and warm-toned interiors. The screwless cover plate clips onto a separate metal sub-frame, hiding all fixings once installed and giving a cleaner wall finish than traditional screw-fixed plates. The black insert behind the faceplate conceals the back of the cover plate and defines the edge of each aperture. The USB ports include overheat and overload protection, and enter a 0.1W standby mode when no device is connected to meet ErP energy efficiency standards.

The combination plate is constructed from 201 stainless steel with a 4.3mm plate depth and requires a 35-47mm back box (Knightsbridge GSK335D or GSK347D recommended). The modular aperture accepts standard Euro modules from Knightsbridge or compatible third-party manufacturers, allowing the plate to be configured for HDMI, Ethernet, speaker terminals, coaxial or additional USB connections depending on installation requirements.
