Description

The Knightsbridge SFR992LBCW is a 13A 2-gang DP switched socket with integrated dual USB fast charging (one USB-C, one USB-A) and a 2-gang modular aperture on the right-hand side, all mounted behind a brushed chrome screwless faceplate with a white insert. The modular space accepts either two 25x50mm Euro modules or one 50x50mm module, allowing the plate to be customised with HDMI, RJ45, TV/SAT, phone or other data connections as needed.

Designed for kitchen islands, home offices, AV walls and media rooms where mains power, USB device charging and data connectivity are needed at a single point, the plate replaces what would otherwise be three or four separate faceplates with a single unified fitting. The dual-pole switching on the 13A sockets isolates both live and neutral when switched off, providing additional safety for high-draw appliances. The USB ports share a 5V DC 4.0A output and support both Quick Charge (QC) and USB Power Delivery (PD) protocols, delivering up to 18W fast charging to compatible smartphones, tablets and headphones.

The brushed chrome finish is 201 stainless steel with a directional grain that softens reflections under daylight and artificial light. The white insert behind the faceplate provides a clean contrast and hides the back of the cover plate once installed. The screwless design uses a cover plate that clips onto a separate metal sub-frame fixed to the back box, so there are no visible screws or fixings on the wall. The plate requires a minimum 35mm back box depth and projects 9.5mm from the wall once fitted. Built-in overheat, overload and standby protection safeguard both the USB circuitry and connected devices.

Yes. The brushed chrome cover plate clips onto a metal sub-frame fixed to the back box. The cover can be removed for painting or wallpapering around the socket and re-clipped without re-wiring.
