Description

The Knightsbridge SFR992LBCG combines two 13A DP switched sockets, a 2-gang modular aperture, and dual USB fast-charging ports (one USB-A, one USB-C) behind a brushed chrome screwless faceplate with a grey insert. The modular aperture accepts either two 25x50mm Euro modules or one 50x50mm module, allowing configuration with HDMI, Cat6, phone, coax or other data/AV inserts (modules sold separately).

Designed for kitchen worktops, home offices, and AV installations where power, data and device charging converge at a single point, the plate reduces cable clutter and consolidates multiple functions into one 235mm-wide horizontal format. The dual-pole switching isolates both live and neutral on each 13A socket when switched off, providing additional safety over single-pole designs. The USB ports deliver a combined 5V 4.0A (18W maximum) with support for Quick Charge and USB Power Delivery protocols, automatically slowing the charge rate once a device battery exceeds 70%.

The brushed chrome finish is cut from 201 stainless steel with a directional grain that softens reflections under overhead lighting. The grey insert sits behind the faceplate to hide the back of the cover plate and define each aperture edge. The screwless cover clips onto a separate metal sub-frame fixed to the back box, leaving no visible screws or fixings on the wall once installed. The plate requires a 35-47mm minimum back box depth (Knightsbridge GSK335D or GSK347D recommended) and projects 9.5mm from the wall when fitted.

The modular aperture orientation is fixed with the module space on the right-hand side of the plate as viewed from the front. For left-hand module placement, see the SFR992LBCGL variant. The reinforced twin earthing provides additional grounding integrity for installations handling multiple device types simultaneously.
