Description

The Knightsbridge SFR992RMW combines a 13A 2-gang DP switched socket with a 2-gang modular insert space and dual USB fast charge ports (one USB-A, one USB-C) behind a matt white screwless faceplate. The modular space accepts two 25x50mm modules or one 50x50mm module, allowing data outlets (RJ45, HDMI, coaxial) or AV connections to be added alongside power and USB charging in a single wall plate.

Designed for residential living rooms, home offices, hotel rooms and commercial meeting spaces, the combo plate reduces the number of individual wall plates needed where both mains power and signal distribution are required. The dual-pole switching isolates both live and neutral when the sockets are switched off, and the twin earth terminals provide a secure earthing path for high-draw appliances. The 235mm width spans a 2-gang mounting box, with a required depth of 35-47mm (Knightsbridge recommends the GSK335D or GSK347D back boxes).

The USB fast charge supports USBPD (Power Delivery) and QC (Quick Charge) protocols, allowing compatible devices to charge from 0-70% capacity at accelerated rates before switching to standard trickle mode. The USB circuit includes thermal protection, overload cutoff and standby efficiency management to prevent damage to connected devices. The matt white finish on the steel faceplate pairs with contemporary white walls and skirting, and the screwless design clips onto a separate metal sub-frame to hide fixings once installed.

The modular space accepts two 25x50mm modules side-by-side (common for RJ45 data outlets, coaxial sockets, HDMI ports) or one 50x50mm module. Modules are sold separately and clip into the plate without tools.
