The Knightsbridge SFR992RBCW combines a 13A 2-gang DP switched socket, a 2-gang modular aperture and dual USB fast charge (USB-A + USB-C) on a single 235mm brushed chrome screwless faceplate with a white insert. The modular aperture on the left accepts two 25x50mm modules or one 50x50mm module, allowing installers to integrate AV, networking, telecom or data connections alongside power delivery on the same plate.

Designed for media walls, home offices, kitchen islands and hospitality installations where multiple connection types need to be consolidated in one location, the plate fits a 35-47mm back box (Knightsbridge GSK335D or GSK347D recommended). The dual USB ports deliver 5V DC at 4A combined output, supporting USBPD and QC fast charging protocols to charge compatible devices at accelerated rates up to 70% battery capacity, after which the socket defaults to standard charging to preserve battery health.

The brushed chrome finish on 201 stainless steel provides a soft metallic sheen that pairs with contemporary, commercial and residential interiors. The white insert behind the faceplate conceals the back of the cover plate and creates a defined edge around each socket, USB port and modular aperture. The screwless cover clips onto a separate metal sub-frame, meaning no visible fixings on the wall once installed. The double-pole switching isolates both live and neutral lines when the socket is switched off, providing additional safety over single-pole designs.

The plate includes twin earth terminals and carries an IP20 rating for indoor use. ErP standby power consumption is rated at 0.1W, meeting European energy efficiency requirements. The 9.5mm projection from the wall once fitted keeps the plate flush with most decorative finishes and tiling depths.

The aperture accepts two 25x50mm modules (e.g. Cat6 RJ45, HDMI, coax, 3.5mm jack) or one 50x50mm module. Knightsbridge produces a full range of compatible modular inserts sold separately. The modules clip into a rear mounting frame inside the back box.

What's the USB fast charge output?

The dual USB ports (USB-A + USB-C) deliver 5V DC at 4A combined output, supporting USBPD and QC fast charging protocols.
