Description

The Knightsbridge SFR992LAT combines a 13A 2-gang DP switched socket with dual USB fast-charge ports (one USB-A, one USB-C) and a 2-gang modular aperture on a single anthracite screwless faceplate. The modular space accepts either two 25x50mm modules or one 50x50mm module, allowing HDMI, ethernet, audio, coaxial or other data connections to be integrated alongside mains power and USB charging.

Designed for media walls, home offices, hotel rooms and smart home installations where multiple connection types need to sit within a single plate, the SFR992LAT reduces the need for trailing adapters and surface-mounted hubs. The dual USB ports share a 5V 4A output and support Quick Charge and USB Power Delivery protocols, providing fast-charge capability for smartphones, tablets and other portable devices. The modular aperture sits on the right-hand side of the plate.

The anthracite finish on the SPCC steel faceplate provides a dark metallic tone that sits between matt black and gunmetal grey, pairing well with contemporary, industrial and minimalist interiors. The black insert behind the faceplate conceals the back of the cover plate and gives a defined edge to each aperture. The screwless cover clips onto a separate metal sub-frame fixed to the back box, leaving no visible fixings on the wall once installed. A minimum back box depth of 35mm is required, with 47mm recommended for easier cable management.

A minimum 35mm back box depth is needed, though Knightsbridge recommends 47mm for easier cable management when multiple connection types are in use. The GSK335D or GSK347D back boxes are specified for this plate.

What modular inserts can fit the aperture?

The 2-gang modular aperture accepts either two 25x50mm modules or one 50x50mm module. Common options include HDMI, RJ45 ethernet, 3.5mm audio jack, coaxial, optical audio, and other data/AV connections. Modules are sold separately.

What's the USB charging output?

The dual USB ports share a 5V 4A output (20W total). The USB-C port supports USB Power Delivery and Quick Charge protocols. Charging rate varies by device and typically reduces above 70% battery capacity as devices taper current for cell protection.

Is the modular aperture on the left or right?
