Description

The Knightsbridge SFR192LAB combines a 13A 2-gang DP switched socket with a 2-gang modular aperture on a single antique brass screwless faceplate measuring 235mm wide. The modular section accepts up to two standard 25x50mm Euro modules, allowing the plate to be configured with data, telephone, HDMI, coax, audio or additional USB charging inserts depending on installation requirements.

Designed for residential and commercial installations where power and data connectivity share a wall position, the combo plate reduces box requirements and creates a unified finish. Common configurations include socket + Ethernet + HDMI for home cinema zones, socket + telephone + data for home offices, or socket + dual USB for hospitality bedside installations. The double-pole switching isolates both live and neutral when the socket is switched off, providing additional safety over single-pole switching.

The antique brass finish shows a warm, aged patina with darker lowlights and brighter highlights across the brushed metal surface, pairing with traditional brass hardware, classical interiors and heritage schemes. The screwless cover plate clips onto a separate metal sub-frame that fixes to the back box, concealing all fixings once installed. The plate requires a 35mm minimum back box depth and projects 9.7mm from the wall when fitted.

The 201 stainless steel construction carries a 25-year warranty. The integrated gasket between the cover plate and sub-frame prevents paint ingress during redecoration and helps maintain the clean edge around the plate apertures. Modular inserts are sold separately and can be mixed across the two available apertures.

The two modular apertures accept any standard 25x50mm Euro modules. Common options include Ethernet RJ45 data modules, telephone sockets, HDMI, coax TV connectors, 3.5mm audio jacks, and USB charging modules. Modules are sold separately and can be mixed across the two available spaces depending on installation requirements.

What back box depth is required?

A 35mm minimum back box depth is needed. The plate projects 9.7mm from the wall once the screwless cover is clipped onto the sub-frame, so total wall depth from the surface to the back of the box is approximately 45mm.

Is the screwless plate removable for redecorating?

Yes. The antique brass cover plate clips onto a separate metal sub-frame that remains fixed to the back box. The cover can be removed for painting around the plate and re-clipped without disconnecting the wiring or removing the sub-frame.

Can the modular apertures be left blank?

Yes. If only one module is needed, the second aperture can be left open or fitted with a blank module insert. Blank inserts are available separately to match the plate finish and maintain a complete appearance.
