Description

The Knightsbridge SKR0013 is a 13A 1-gang DP switched socket built into a vertical corner-mountable housing with an integrated 3W RMS Bluetooth speaker and two USB charging ports. The unit measures 236mm high by 112mm wide and projects 74mm from the corner, fitting into tight spaces where a standard horizontal socket cannot be installed. The brushed stainless steel finish provides a clean metallic accent on the visible faces.

Designed for bedroom corners, hotel room installations, and anywhere vertical space is available but horizontal wall space is limited, the socket combines mains power, USB charging and wireless audio in a single fitting. The 13A outlet handles standard UK appliances up to 3,120W, the two USB-A ports share 5V DC 2.4A output between them, and the Bluetooth speaker pairs with phones, tablets and laptops to play audio through a front-mounted grille. The speaker delivers 3W RMS output — enough for background music, podcasts or radio in a bedroom or small room.

The vertical format allows the socket to be fitted into internal corners where two walls meet at 90°, or mounted flat on a single wall where height is easier to use than width. The unit is certified to BS1363-2 for UK socket standards, with EMC and ErP compliance, and requires a compatible deep back box behind the corner fixing points. The IP20 rating limits use to dry indoor areas only.

The brushed steel construction gives the unit a durable, hard-wearing surface that resists fingerprints better than polished chrome.
