This Knightsbridge under-cabinet socket combines a 13A switched outlet, two USB charging ports, and a 3W RMS Bluetooth speaker behind a stainless steel faceplate. The speaker grille sits alongside the socket and USB ports, allowing wireless music playback from a smartphone or tablet while providing mains power and USB charging in the same unit.

Designed for kitchen worktop installation, bedroom bedside tables, and hospitality environments where both power and audio are useful in the same location, the unit mounts under wall cabinets or onto vertical surfaces using the included fixings. The 212mm width spans a single cabinet section, and the 79.5mm projection keeps the unit clear of typical worktop depths. The Bluetooth connection pairs with standard devices and remains active while the mains socket and USB ports are in use.

The dual USB ports share a 5V DC 2.4A output, suitable for charging two devices simultaneously at lower wattages or one device at the full 2.4A rate. The stainless steel finish resists fingerprints better than polished chrome and pairs with contemporary kitchen hardware and appliances. The unit is certified to BS1363-2 for socket safety, EMC compliant for electromagnetic compatibility, and ErP Ready for energy-related product regulations.

The speaker draws power from the mains connection that also powers the socket and USB ports. There is no separate battery or charging requirement for the speaker itself.

Can the USB ports charge two devices at once?

Yes. The two USB ports share a combined 5V DC 2.4A output. When two devices are connected, the current is shared between them. A single device connected to either port receives up to 2.4A if it can accept that rate.

What mounting options are available?

The unit is designed for under-cabinet mounting on kitchen worktops or vertical wall mounting in bedrooms and hospitality settings. Fixings are included. The 79.5mm projection and weight require secure fixing into solid material or studs rather than plasterboard alone.

Is it suitable for bathroom installation?

No. The IP20 rating means the unit is not water-resistant and is only suitable for dry indoor locations. Bathrooms require IP44 or higher ratings for socket installations.
