The Knightsbridge 13A 1-gang switched socket adds USB-C and USB-A fast charge ports behind an antique brass screwless faceplate. Each USB port delivers up to 18W output per port using USB-PD and Qualcomm Quick Charge protocols, with a combined maximum of 20W when both ports charge simultaneously. The single 13A socket outlet provides standard UK mains power for appliances up to 3,000W.

Designed for bedside tables, study desks and kitchen worktops where a single socket plus device charging is needed, the fast charge capability cuts charging time for compatible smartphones and tablets compared to standard 5W USB ports. The socket uses automatic voltage switching to match the connected device's charging protocol, preventing overcharging. The screwless cover plate clips onto a separate metal sub-frame, leaving no visible fixings on the wall once installed.

The antique brass finish is achieved through a chemical patina applied to 201 stainless steel, giving a warm aged-metal appearance that develops slight tonal variation across the surface. The finish pairs well with period, classical and warm-toned contemporary interiors. The black insert behind the faceplate defines each outlet aperture and hides the back of the cover plate.
