Description

Copper runs across a screwless front plate, with a chrome insert framing the rocker and the charging ports below it. There is a switched 13A socket, a neon that glows while the power is live, and two USB-A ports sharing 10W between them, so a phone and a set of headphones can charge side by side. The face is flat and unbroken, with no screw heads to break up the metallic finish, and the plate is small enough that it does not dominate a wall of pale paint.

We fit these where a bedside table, a desk or a kitchen worktop has to serve too many things at once: the ports take the chargers, and the socket stays free for a lamp, a kettle or a laptop supply. Nothing juts out the way a plug-in charger does. The rocker means you can cut the power at the plate rather than pulling flexes out. It suits anyone tidying up a run of hardware, and it sits happily alongside copper taps, handles and pendants in a kitchen, or in a bedroom where the plate is on show beside the bed. The body is moulded ABS, with the copper finish carried across the visible face and a chrome insert set behind it so the metals sit together neatly. Switch off at the rocker before you clean it, wipe the plate with a barely damp cloth and dry it at once; cream cleaners and abrasives will dull copper quickly. It carries a ten year warranty.
