The Knightsbridge SF63WAB is a 1-gang USB charger plate with two USB-C ports and one USB-A port behind an antique brass screwless faceplate. The dual USB-C configuration delivers up to 63W total output across the ports, with the primary USB-C2 port supporting PPS and PD3.0 fast-charge protocols at up to 63W when used alone, or 45W when paired with the second USB-C port.

Designed for hotel rooms, hot desking environments, home offices and kitchens where multiple devices need charging without occupying standard 13A power sockets, the plate consolidates charging into a single 1-gang aperture. When one USB-C port is in use alone, it delivers up to 60-63W — sufficient to charge many modern laptops using a certified 100W USB-C cable. The USB-A port retains compatibility with older phones, tablets and accessories that still use legacy USB-A cables.

The antique brass finish provides a warm, aged metallic tone that pairs with traditional and classical interiors. The screwless cover plate clips onto a separate metal sub-frame fixed to the back box, giving a clean finished appearance with no visible fixings. The plate requires a minimum 35mm back box depth and includes an integrated gasket to seal against the wall surface.

The charging output varies depending on how many ports are in use simultaneously: when two USB-C ports are active together, the output splits to 45W + 18W; when all three ports are active, the split becomes 45W shared across the two USB-C ports plus 15W on the USB-A. This intelligent power distribution allows the charger to prioritise the device drawing the most current while still providing slower charging to secondary devices.

Yes, when the USB-C2 port is used alone it delivers up to 63W via PPS or 60W via PD3.0, which is sufficient to charge many modern laptops. You will need a certified 100W USB-C cable to achieve the full output — lower-rated cables will limit the charging speed to the cable's maximum supported wattage.

What happens when all three ports are in use?

The charger distributes power intelligently: the two USB-C ports share 45W between them, and the USB-A port receives 15W. Total maximum output across all three ports is 60W. This allows slower simultaneous charging of multiple devices rather than fast-charging a single device.

What back box depth is required?

A minimum 35mm back box depth is required for safe installation. The screwless cover plate adds 4.3mm of projection from the wall once fitted, and the recessed depth behind the plate is 24.4mm.

Is the screwless plate removable for redecorating?

Yes. The antique brass cover plate clips onto a separate metal sub-frame fixed to the back box. The cover can be removed for painting around the plate and re-clipped without re-wiring.
