Description

The Zinta is a 1m diameter three-tier crystal chandelier with 22 E14 candle bulb fittings arranged across three descending levels, each adorned with faceted Asfour crystal droplets and a solid crystal centre column. The antique brass frame supports curved arms that extend outward from the central axis, with each arm terminating in a drip-pan and candle cup holding an E14 bulb. The crystals hang on individual pins and chains, refracting light from the bulbs into a dispersed pattern across ceilings and walls.

Designed for double-height entrance halls, formal dining rooms and large drawing rooms with ceiling heights of 3.5m or above, the Zinta requires sufficient vertical space to accommodate the three-tier structure and the minimum 1540mm drop. The drop is adjustable during installation up to 3490mm using chain links, allowing the fitting to be suspended lower in particularly tall spaces. The 26.4kg weight demands a reinforced ceiling rose and solid structural fixing — this is not a fitting for plasterboard-only ceilings without additional support.

The antique brass finish is a chemically-aged patina applied to solid brass, giving the metal a mottled, darker tone than polished or brushed brass. This finish suits period properties, classical interiors and spaces where warm metallic tones are preferred over chrome or nickel. The solid crystal centre column acts as a focal point when the chandelier is viewed from below, anchoring the tiered structure visually and structurally.

What bulbs does it take and are they included?

The Zinta takes 22 E14 small Edison screw bulbs, each up to 20W. Bulbs are sold separately. Most installations use 4-6W LED candle bulbs in warm white (2700K-3000K) for a traditional glow without excessive heat or energy consumption.

What ceiling height is needed?

The minimum drop of 1540mm plus the 1000mm diameter means you need a ceiling height of at least 3.5m to prevent the chandelier sitting too low in the room. Taller spaces up to 5m can use the full 3490mm adjustable drop to lower the fitting into the room.

Does it require reinforced ceiling fixing?

Yes. The 26.4kg weight requires a ceiling rose fixed to a solid joist or a reinforced plasterboard anchor rated for heavy loads. Standard plasterboard fixings are not sufficient. Professional installation is recommended.

How is the crystal cleaned?

Switch off and allow the bulbs to cool completely. Wipe each crystal droplet with a dry microfibre cloth. For heavier dust buildup, a barely-damp cloth with distilled water can be used, but avoid soaking the crystals or allowing water to run into the electrical fittings. Do not use household glass cleaners or sprays on Asfour crystal.
