Description
The Zinta is a 1m diameter three-tier crystal chandelier carrying 22 E14 bulb positions across upper, middle and lower arms, all finished in French gold metalwork and dressed with Asfour cut-crystal droplets and chains. The three tiers are arranged at 4 lights on the top level, 8 on the middle tier, and 10 on the lower tier, creating a graduated cascade that fills vertical space in proportion to the width.
Designed for double-height entrance halls, formal dining rooms and stairwells with ceiling heights of 3m or higher, the Zinta requires a minimum drop of 1540mm from ceiling rose to the base of the lowest tier. The drop is adjustable up to 3490mm using the chain provided, allowing the chandelier to be positioned at the correct height relative to the room's proportions. At 26.4kg fully dressed, the fitting requires a ceiling rose rated for that load and professional installation on a structural fixing point.
The French gold finish is a warm-toned metal coating applied to the steel frame, sitting between polished brass and antique brass in tone — warmer than chrome but less heavily aged than oil-rubbed bronze. The Asfour crystals are machine-cut lead-free glass with a 30% PbO content replacement that maintains the refractive index of traditional lead crystal while meeting modern safety standards. Each crystal is individually hung on brass pins, and the entire chandelier arrives unassembled with all crystals, chains and decorative elements packed separately for construction on site.
Dimmability depends on the bulbs fitted — the chandelier accepts any E14 candle bulb up to 20W per socket, giving flexibility to choose LED, halogen or decorative filament bulbs and to pair with a compatible dimmer switch where control over light intensity is needed. The combination of 22 bulbs at full brightness can exceed 3000 lumens depending on bulb choice, so dimmable warm-white LEDs between 4-6W per bulb are a common pairing for residential dining rooms.

Frequently Asked
What ceiling height is needed?
The minimum drop of 1540mm means ceiling heights of 3m or above are required to avoid the chandelier hanging too low. In dining rooms the lowest tier typically sits 700-900mm above the table surface, so a 2.4m ceiling could work with a very short chain if the table is standard height, but 3m+ is safer for proportional balance.
Does it come assembled?
No. The chandelier arrives with the frame, crystals, chains and decorative elements packed separately. Assembly and installation are required on site, including hanging each individual crystal onto the brass pins on the frame. Professional installation is recommended given the 26.4kg weight and the complexity of the three-tier assembly.
What bulbs are recommended?
The chandelier takes 22 x E14 candle bulbs, each up to 20W. Most users fit warm-white LED candle bulbs between 4-6W and 2700K-3000K for residential dining rooms. Dimmable LEDs allow brightness control when paired with a compatible dimmer switch.
How are the crystals cleaned?
Switch off and allow bulbs to cool fully. Use a dry microfibre cloth to wipe each crystal individually, or a barely-damp cloth with distilled water for stubborn marks. Avoid spray cleaners, which leave residue. For deep cleaning, crystals can be removed from their pins, washed in warm soapy water, rinsed, dried and re-hung.
