Description
The Zevi EL G 2GU10 is a twin-head garden spike light that stakes into soil to pick out planting, low walls and pathway edges. It runs on 220-240V AC mains and takes two GU10 lamps rated up to 10W each, so the output and colour temperature follow whichever PAR16 bulbs you fit. Known in the US as a landscape spike or pathway light, it sets two independent heads on a single ground stake, letting you aim a pair of beams rather than a single fixed wash.
Use it along borders, in flower beds or beside a path where it can be pushed firmly into the ground, with the two heads angled to graze foliage or throw light up onto a fence or feature. Because the beam follows the GU10 lamps you choose, coverage is best judged by throw and aim rather than a fixed room area: tighter lamps give a focused accent on a single plant or post, while wider ones spread a softer pool across a bed. The spike keeps the body low and discreet among planting during the day. At IP54 it is splash-resistant and suited to sheltered spots such as a porch surround or covered patio edge, rather than fully exposed, jet-washed or waterlogged positions.
The body is aluminium alloy in a grey finish, measuring 100 x 100 x 190 mm and weighing 618 g, with the spike forming part of the staked base. The IP54 rating guards against splashing and rain run-off while keeping the twin GU10 holders accessible for lamp changes. It is staked directly into ground rather than wall-fixed or recessed, and dimming depends on the GU10 lamps and any compatible mains dimmer used. This is part of the wider Zevi range, which carries single and twin-head spike options alongside matching ground fittings.

Frequently Asked
Is it suitable for outdoor use?
Yes, within limits. The IP54 rating means it resists splashing and rain run-off, so it is fine in sheltered borders, beds and covered outdoor spots. Keep it out of fully exposed positions, direct water jets or standing water.
Can the heads be angled?
Yes. The two GU10 heads can be aimed independently on the staked body, letting you direct one beam onto planting and another onto a wall or feature. This makes it easy to set the look once the spike is pushed into the ground.
Does it run on mains or a transformer?
It runs directly on 220-240V AC mains, so no separate 12V transformer is needed. Each head takes a GU10 lamp rated up to 10W, wired into your garden lighting circuit.
Are bulbs included?
The fitting uses two GU10 (PAR16) lamps, each up to 10W, which let you set your own brightness and colour temperature. Check the listing details for whether lamps are supplied, and choose outdoor-suitable GU10s to match the sheltered IP54 use.
