Description
The Zevi EL B 2GU10 is a twin-head garden spike light that stakes directly into soil, a border or a planted bed to throw light across the area you point it at. It runs two GU10 lamps rated up to 10W each on a 220-240V AC mains supply, so there is no separate low-voltage transformer to wire in. With two heads on one body, this landscape spike light, as it is often called in the US, can be set to graze a wall and pick out a shrub at the same time, or aimed together for a stronger pool of light over a single feature.
Stake it beside a planted border, along a path edge or near a porch step to highlight foliage, brickwork or a garden ornament after dark. Because the heads are adjustable, the light can be angled upward to wash a wall or trained low across the ground, so coverage depends on how you set it rather than a fixed footprint. The IP54 rating makes it splash-resistant and suited to sheltered, covered spots such as a porch or carport edge, so position it where it is shielded from heavy driving rain rather than fully exposed to the weather or standing water.
The body is cast from aluminium alloy in a black finish that sits quietly among planting, and it measures 100 x 100 x 190 mm at a weight of 618 g, giving the spike enough mass to hold steady once pushed in. It takes PAR16 GU10 lamps at the standard cap, so the light source is replaceable and you can pick your preferred beam and colour temperature to suit the scheme. Mounting is by the integral ground spike only, pressed firmly into the earth with no digging or fixings required. Our range includes other Zevi EL ground and spike fittings if you want to match the look across a larger garden.

Frequently Asked
Is it suitable for outdoor use?
Yes, within limits. The IP54 rating makes it splash-resistant and fine for sheltered or covered outdoor positions such as a porch edge, carport or a planted border under cover. Keep it clear of direct driving rain, hose jets and standing water rather than placing it fully exposed.
Can the heads be angled?
Yes. The twin GU10 heads are adjustable, so you can aim them independently to graze a wall, uplight a shrub or train the light low across the ground. This lets you cover two targets from one spike or combine both heads on a single feature.
Does it run on mains or a transformer?
It runs straight off a 220-240V AC mains supply, so no separate low-voltage transformer is needed. Each of the two heads takes a standard GU10 lamp rated up to 10W.
How do I clean it?
Wipe the aluminium body and the lens glass with a soft, damp cloth once the lamps are cool, then dry it off. Avoid abrasive pads or harsh solvents on the black finish, and clear away leaves or soil splash from around the heads so the light stays bright.
