Description

The Zero II is a 380mm flush ceiling light with an integrated 36W LED panel behind an opal white acrylic diffuser, mounted in a white powder-coated metal base. The 55mm height gives minimal projection from the ceiling, making it suitable for rooms with ceiling heights of 2.3m or lower where a pendant would hang too low or a semi-flush would intrude into headroom.

Designed for bedrooms, living rooms, hallways and home offices needing general ambient light, the Zero II delivers 2350 lumens at 3000K warm white across a 120-degree beam angle. The opal diffuser spreads the light evenly across the ceiling and walls, avoiding hot spots or visible LED points. The 380mm diameter covers approximately 12-15m² of floor area with sufficient ambient light for typical residential use, though rooms with dark walls or high ceilings may benefit from supplementary task lighting.

The white powder-coated finish on the metal base plate pairs with the opal diffuser to give a clean, unobtrusive appearance that works in both modern and traditional interiors. The fitting weighs 650g and mounts directly to a standard UK ceiling rose or junction box using two fixing screws. The integrated LED is non-dimmable and non-replaceable, with a rated lifespan of approximately 25,000 hours at typical residential use patterns.

Is the Zero II dimmable?

No. The integrated LED is non-dimmable and will not function correctly with dimmer switches. Installing the Zero II on a dimmed circuit may cause flicker or damage the LED driver.

What room size does it suit?

The 2350lm output at 3000K suits rooms of approximately 12-15m² (3.5m x 4m) for ambient lighting. Larger rooms or those with dark walls may require multiple fittings or supplementary task lighting.

Can the LED be replaced?

No. The LED panel is integrated into the fitting and cannot be replaced. The LED is rated for approximately 25,000 hours, equivalent to 8-10 years at typical residential use. When the LED reaches end of life, the entire fitting is replaced.

How is it mounted?

The Zero II mounts directly to a standard UK ceiling rose or junction box using two fixing screws through the metal base plate. The 650g weight does not require additional support beyond a standard plasterboard ceiling.
