Description

The Zero is a 500mm flush-mounted ceiling light with a white opal diffuser and five E27 sockets arranged in a circular pattern inside the bowl. The 125mm height from ceiling to diffuser edge makes it suited to rooms with ceiling heights of 2.2-2.4m where a pendant would hang too low, and it can also be wall-mounted as a circular wall light.

Designed for living rooms, bedrooms, dining areas and hallways where even ambient light is needed without ceiling drop, the five E27 sockets accept standard bulbs LED each (bulbs sold separately), giving control over colour temperature and total output. The opal diffuser spreads light evenly without glare or visible bulb hotspots.

The white powder-coated metal backplate and smooth opal polycarbonate diffuser give the fitting a minimal profile that sits close to the ceiling surface. The diffuser removes for bulb changes and cleaning via twist-off fixings. Dimmer compatibility depends on the bulbs chosen. Pair with dimmable LEDs and a trailing-edge dimmer for adjustable output. The 1.2kg weight fits standard UK ceiling roses and requires no additional ceiling reinforcement.

With five E27 sockets, the total output scales with the bulbs you fit, so higher-wattage lamps suit a larger living room while lower-output bulbs give softer light in a bedroom. The Zero takes five E27 (Edison screw) bulbs, sold separately. We suggest pairing this with five 8-12W LED bulbs at 2700K-3000K for warm ambient light in a living room or bedroom. The total output and colour temperature are controlled by the bulbs you choose.

Is it suitable for low ceilings?

Yes. The 125mm projection from ceiling to diffuser edge makes this a practical choice for rooms with ceiling heights between 2.2m and 2.4m where a pendant would hang too low. The flush mount keeps the fitting close to the ceiling surface.

Can it be dimmed?

Yes, if paired with dimmable bulbs and a compatible dimmer switch. Use dimmable LED bulbs and a trailing-edge (LED-compatible) dimmer for smooth dimming without flicker. The fitting itself has no built-in dimming function.
