Description

The Zephyra is a 255mm diameter recessed ground light with a tiltable 14W LED module housed behind a grey powder-coated steel bezel and clear glass lens. The LED module adjusts ±30° from vertical, allowing light to be directed along a pathway, up onto a wall or tree, or across a garden feature rather than straight upwards.

Designed for driveways, pathways, patios and landscaping installations where the fitting sits flush with the ground surface, the Zephyra carries an IP67 rating for protection against dust ingress and temporary immersion in water up to 1m depth. The 104mm installation depth fits typical screeded or paved surfaces with drainage beneath, and the 1540mm cable run gives flexibility for routing back to a junction box or driver location without needing an extension on site.

The integrated 3000K LED delivers warm white light comparable to halogen ground lights but at a fraction of the energy draw — 14W versus the 50-70W typical of older recessed fittings. The grey powder coat on the steel bezel blends into concrete, dark stone and charcoal paving without creating a visual interruption when the light is off during daylight hours. The tilt mechanism uses a brass-bushed joint inside the housing, allowing the module to be angled during installation and locked in position.

Can the Zephyra be installed in a driveway that takes vehicle traffic?

The Zephyra is rated for pedestrian and light vehicle traffic when correctly installed with a load-bearing surround. For heavy vehicle use or commercial driveways, confirm the installation substrate and load distribution with the installer before fitting.

What does the ±30° tilt adjustment allow?

The LED module inside the housing can be angled up to 30° in any direction from vertical. This allows the light to be directed along a pathway rather than straight up, or aimed at a wall, tree trunk or garden feature to create wash lighting or feature uplighting.

Is the Zephyra suitable for areas that flood occasionally?

The IP67 rating protects the fitting against temporary immersion in water up to 1m depth for up to 30 minutes. It will withstand heavy rain, hose-washing and brief flooding, but is not designed for permanent underwater installation.

Can the LED module be replaced if it fails?

The LED is integrated into the module. If the LED fails within the 5-year warranty period, contact Ideal Lux or Niori for a warranty replacement. The fitting is not designed for field replacement of the LED by the end user.
