Description

The Zephyra is a 175mm diameter recessed ground light with an integrated 11W LED module that tilts ±30° within its housing. The light sits flush with ground level behind a brushed grey stainless steel bezel with two small fixing screws visible on the face, and the LED module inside can be angled to direct the 3000K warm white beam up facades, onto planting, or along pathways.

Designed for installation in driveways, patios, pathways and garden borders where directing accent light onto architectural features or guiding foot traffic is needed, the Zephyra requires a recess depth of 99mm and accepts direct burial in paving, resin-bound gravel or concrete. The IP67 rating protects against dust ingress and temporary immersion, making the fitting suitable for areas that may flood briefly during heavy rain or where hosepipes are used for cleaning.

The grey stainless steel bezel resists corrosion in coastal and urban environments and the brushed finish hides minor scuffing from foot traffic better than polished metal. The 11W LED module is non-replaceable and rated for approximately 30,000 hours of operation at 3000K, casting a warm white light that sits comfortably in residential and hospitality outdoor schemes without the clinical tone of higher colour temperatures. The 1540mm cable run from the fitting allows for connection to a nearby junction box or driver without extending cable runs during installation.

What recess depth is needed for installation?

The fitting requires a minimum 99mm recess depth measured from finished ground level. The body projects 195mm below the bezel, so account for drainage material or conduit below the fitting when planning the excavation.

Can the LED module be angled after installation?

Yes. The LED module inside the housing tilts ±30° from vertical, allowing the light to be directed onto a wall, planting or along a pathway. The adjustment is made by hand once the fitting is installed and powered off.

Is the Zephyra suitable for driveways with vehicle traffic?

The IP67 rating protects against dust and water ingress, but the specification does not state a vehicle load rating. For driveways with regular car or van traffic, confirm with the installer that the bezel can be bedded securely enough to prevent movement under wheel loads.

Can the fitting be dimmed?

No. The integrated LED driver does not support dimming. If dimmable outdoor ground lights are needed, contact us for alternative models in the Ideal Lux or AVSL ranges.
