Description

The Zephra is a 61cm flush ceiling light with an integrated 42W LED set behind an opal polycarbonate diffuser, framed by a brushed brass metal rim. The LED delivers 3000K warm white light across the full diameter of the fitting, turning the entire disc into the light source rather than using discrete bulbs or LED strips.

Designed for rooms with ceiling heights of 2.4m or lower where a pendant would hang too close to head height, the Zephra sits just 35mm below the ceiling surface. It suits living rooms, dining rooms, bedrooms and home offices between 12-18m² in floor area, providing general ambient light rather than task or accent lighting. The IP20 rating limits it to dry indoor spaces — not bathrooms or outdoor use.

The brushed brass rim gives a warm metallic accent that pairs well with mid-century, contemporary brass fixtures and warm-toned interiors. The opal polycarbonate diffuser conceals the LED array inside and softens the light output to avoid glare when viewed from below. The 42W LED output is fixed at 3000K and cannot be dimmed or adjusted once installed.

Is the Zephra dimmable?

No. The integrated 42W LED is not dimmable and operates at full output when switched on.

What room size does it suit?

The 61cm diameter and 42W output work well in rooms between 12-18m² floor area. Larger rooms may need multiple fittings or a higher-output light. Smaller rooms under 10m² may find the 61cm diameter visually dominant.

Can it be fitted in a bathroom?

No. The IP20 rating means it is not protected against moisture and must be used in dry indoor spaces only. Bathrooms require IP44 or higher.

What ceiling height is needed?
