The Zephra is an 81cm LED ceiling light with a white powder-coated metal frame and an opal polycarbonate diffuser panel, housing an integrated 48W LED module rated at 3000K warm white. The circular frame sits 35mm proud of the ceiling, making it suitable for low-ceiling installations where pendant lights would hang too far into the room.

Designed for open-plan living areas, dining rooms, large bedrooms and hallways where broad ambient light is needed, the Zephra distributes light evenly across the diffuser without visible hotspots. The 81cm diameter covers approximately 12-15m² of floor area with sufficient ambient light for general use, though task lighting may still be needed for close work or reading. The fitting connects directly to 230V mains via a ceiling rose and operates on simple on-off switching with no dimmer compatibility.

The white powder-coat finish on the metal frame provides a clean backdrop for the opal polycarbonate panel, which softens the LED output and prevents glare when viewed from below. The 3000K colour temperature gives a warm white tone comparable to traditional halogen lighting rather than the cooler daylight whites of some commercial LED fittings. At 35mm height the Zephra adds minimal projection from the ceiling, leaving headroom in rooms with 2.3-2.4m ceiling heights.

The integrated LED is rated at 48W on 230V mains, with a 5-year warranty from Ideal Lux covering the LED module and driver. The IP20 rating limits the fitting to dry indoor locations only — kitchens, living rooms, bedrooms and hallways are suitable, but bathrooms and outdoor covered areas are not.
