Description

The Zen Round is a 250mm diameter wall or flush ceiling light built around three G4 halogen capsule bulbs surrounded by a sculptural arrangement of polished chrome wire and curved aluminium ribbon. The ribbons loop and curl outward from a central chrome hub, creating a three-dimensional form that catches and reflects light from multiple angles as the metal surfaces bounce ambient and bulb light across the space.

Designed as dual-purpose installation, the fitting mounts flush to a ceiling or projects 200mm from a wall, making it suitable for low-ceiling hallways, bedroom feature walls, or above-sink positions in bathrooms without the headroom for a pendant. The wire and ribbon construction gives the light a 250mm spread in all directions when viewed head-on, so it reads as a sculptural object even when the bulbs are off. The polished chrome finish pairs with contemporary and mid-century interiors that use chrome taps, handles and hardware.

Three G4 20W halogen capsule bulbs are included and sit inside the wire structure, with the transformer housed in the base. The trailing-edge dimmable circuit allows brightness control when paired with a compatible dimmer switch. At 0.7kg the fitting is light enough to mount on plasterboard walls using appropriate fixings, and the 200mm projection keeps the ribbons clear of typical door swing zones when wall-mounted in hallways.
