Description

The XLED is a GU10 LED spotlight bulb that draws just 6.5W while putting out 850 lumens, so it stands in for an old 88W lamp without the running cost. This is a GU10 cap, the standard twist-lock mains spotlight fitting. You push it in and turn a quarter to lock it, with no separate transformer or driver required. It is not the low-voltage GU5.3 MR16 type, so do not confuse the two when buying.

What old bulb wattage does it replace?

It draws only 6.5W but produces 850 lumens, which matches the output of an older 88W halogen or incandescent spotlight. The LED itself only uses 6.5W, so you get the same brightness for a fraction of the energy.
