The XLED candle bulb is a C35 flame-shape LED with a small Edison screw (E14, often called SES) cap, the same compact fitting used across British candle and chandelier-style fittings. It draws just 6 W yet gives out 810 lumens of 2700K warm white light, a tone that sits at the cosy end of the scale and reads as a soft, slightly golden glow. The wide 320 degree beam spreads light around the bulb rather than firing it in one direction, so it lights a room evenly. In US terms this is the E14 cousin of a candelabra lamp, where the local standard is the smaller E12 base.

Because the light wraps almost all the way around, this bulb suits open and exposed fittings where the lamp itself is part of the look: candle-arm chandeliers, wall brackets, pendants and lantern shades in living rooms, dining rooms, hallways and bedrooms. The warm 2700K tone and Ra 80 colour rendering keep skin tones and furnishings looking natural, which makes it a comfortable choice for relaxed evening spaces rather than task areas. It is an IP20 bulb for dry indoor use only, so keep it clear of bathrooms, porches and any outdoor or damp setting.

Inside the clear glass envelope sit visible LED filaments, giving the vintage, exposed-filament look that pairs well with retro and decorative fittings. The bulb measures just Ø35 by 97 mm and weighs 16 g, so it fits neatly into slim candle holders. It is rated for around 10,000 hours and replaces a traditional 60 W incandescent candle bulb while using only 6 W, at an efficiency of 135 lm/W. Which fitting does this bulb need?
