Description
The XLED is a C35 candle-shape LED bulb with an E14 Small Edison Screw (SES) cap, the standard fitting on chandeliers, wall lights and many table and pendant fixtures. It draws just 5.9W yet gives 806 lumens, replacing a 60W old incandescent candle bulb at a fraction of the running cost. The light is a crisp 4000K cool white with an Ra 80 colour rendering, and the wide 320 degrees beam angle pushes light around the bulb rather than in one direction. Across the Atlantic this candelabra-style lamp answers the same brief as a US candle bulb, though it carries the European E14 cap rather than the E12 base common there.
The cool white tone suits kitchens, bathrooms with their own room fitting, home offices and hallways where a clean, alert light is wanted rather than a soft yellow glow. Because the 320 degrees spread radiates light broadly, it works well in multi-arm chandeliers and open candelabra fittings where the bulb itself is on show. At 806 lumens a single lamp lifts a small fitting; for a larger pendant or a multi-lamp chandelier, count on several working together to light the room. The Ø35 by 123 mm body and 13 g weight keep it light enough for delicate decorative arms.
Built around visible LED filaments behind clear transparent glass, the XLED carries the warm vintage look of an old filament candle while running on modern LED efficiency at 137 lm/W. It runs on 220 to 240V AC mains and is rated IP20, so it is for dry indoor use only and should be kept out of bathrooms, porches and any damp or outdoor spot. This bulb is non-dimmable, so pair it with a standard on or off switch rather than a dimmer. The rated lifespan is 25,000 hours. The XLED candle sits within a wider range of E14 and E27 filament lamps for matching fittings throughout a home.

Frequently Asked
What fitting does this bulb need?
It has an E14 cap, also called Small Edison Screw or SES, the smaller screw-in fitting used on most chandeliers, candelabra-style wall lights and many table lamps. Check that your fitting is E14 rather than the larger E27. It is not a bayonet or push-fit cap.
What old-bulb wattage does it replace?
The XLED draws only 5.9W itself but produces 806 lumens, which matches the output of a 60W old incandescent candle bulb. You get the same brightness for roughly a tenth of the energy use. The rated lifespan is 25,000 hours.
Is this bulb dimmable?
No, this is a non-dimmable bulb. Use it on a standard on or off switch and avoid pairing it with a dimmer, as doing so can cause flicker or shorten its life. If you need dimming, choose a bulb specified as dimmable.
Can it be used outdoors or in a bathroom?
No. The bulb is rated IP20, which means dry indoor use only, so keep it clear of bathrooms, porches, gardens and any damp or exposed location. It is intended for living spaces, kitchens, hallways and similar dry interior rooms.
