The Worvarne is a slim rectangular LED panel light for the ceiling, 57cm long, 30cm wide and just 3cm deep, finished in clean white. Its body and diffuser are both white plastic, and the LEDs are integrated, so there is no bulb to buy or change. It gives out 2,580lm and covers three colour temperatures, 2700K, 4000K and 6500K, running from warm light through neutral light to crisp daylight. With an IP44 rating it is protected from splashing water, so it can go into steamy, splash-prone rooms as well as dry ones.

Because the panel is so shallow, it suits rooms with lower ceilings where a pendant would feel in the way, and its plain white frame sits quietly against a white or pale ceiling. We would put it in a kitchen, a hallway, a home office or a utility room, anywhere you want even, bright light across the whole space. The IP44 rating also makes it a sensible choice for a bathroom ceiling, and a qualified electrician will confirm the right zone. The choice of colour temperature is the real gain: warm white for a relaxed evening, neutral white for everyday jobs and cool white when you need to see fine detail clearly.

The panel has no switch of its own; it is switched at the wall and runs on a 220-240V, 50/60Hz mains supply. As a wired-in ceiling light it is installed by a qualified electrician, and the installation instructions are available as a download so they can be read ahead of fitting. The LEDs and driver are not replaceable, so when the panel reaches the end of its life the whole unit is replaced rather than a part. It carries an energy class of D and weighs 1.42KG. Before fitting day, make sure the wall switch sits where you find it handy, because it is the only control the panel has.
