Description

Our Woodfire Demi Vanity Tin Scented Candle is a small scented candle poured into a round, lidded tin. It holds 85g of soy paraffin wax around a single cotton wick, and the maker gives it a burn time of 20 hours. At 6.5cm across and 5.7cm tall it is wider than it is tall, and the whole candle weighs 0.16KG, so it is easy to carry from room to room or tuck into a bag. Woodfire is the name of its scent, printed on the label that wraps the tin.

As a room scent it suits the smaller spaces of a home: a bedside table, a bathroom shelf, a shelf in a study or the corner of a desk. Its low height keeps it out of the way, and the small footprint leaves room for books, a lamp or a plant beside it. Because it comes in a tin with its own lid, it is a practical choice for a guest room or a weekend away, and its size makes it an easy small gift for a friend, a host or a colleague.

The tin itself is iron, printed all round with a loose pattern of feathers, leaves and berries, and finished with a rolled rim at the base. Inside, the wax is poured close to the rim. The lid sits flat over the top, so the candle can be closed between evenings and looks tidy on a shelf when it is not lit. For styling, stand it on a small tray with a few favourite things, or let it sit alone on a dressing table, where the printed pattern can be seen as you get ready.
