Description

This wood effect mushroom ornament brings a little woodland character to a shelf, with a domed cap covered in layered log slice detail and a sturdy, gently flared stalk. The cap is built up from dozens of raised rounds of different sizes, each one marked with growth rings so it reads like a pile of cut timber, while the stalk carries fine vertical grain lines like bark. It is made from resin, also called polystone, and finished in a warm, pale brown with darker touches in the gaps that bring out the texture. It stands 16.7cm tall, 12.2cm wide and 11.7cm deep, a neat size for a mantelpiece.
