Wasarne Wall Spotlight - Satin Nickel

The Wasarne is a compact single wall spotlight: a round steel backplate and a short jointed arm in satin nickel, holding a white glass shade. It measures just 10.5cm long and 6.5cm wide, so it sits neatly on a wall without crowding it. The shade is made using a wiping technique, which leaves fine horizontal streaks across the white glass and softens the look of the bulb inside it. The lamp holder is E14 and takes a bulb of up to 25W; the bulb is not included, so you choose the warmth of light that suits the room. With an IP20 rating, it belongs indoors in a dry room.

A single spotlight like this suits a hallway, a landing, a bedroom wall or the corner of a living room beside a favourite chair, anywhere a pool of light is more useful than a full ceiling light. The satin nickel has a soft, brushed sheen rather than a mirror shine, so it sits comfortably against white, grey and neutral walls as well as warmer colours. No. It is rated IP20, which means indoors in a dry room only, so we would keep it away from bathrooms, damp areas and anywhere outdoors.
