Vito 2 Light Flush Ceiling Light - Polished Chrome & Mirrored Glass

The Vito is a 400mm square flush ceiling light built around a central frosted white glass diffuser surrounded by four mirrored glass panels set in a polished chrome frame. Two E27 bulbs inside the frosted diffuser cast soft, even light across the ceiling plane whilst the surrounding mirrored panels reflect light back into the room and visually extend the fixture's reach.

Designed for rooms with ceiling heights below 2.4m where a pendant would hang too low, the Vito's 110mm projection from the ceiling makes it suitable for hallways, bedrooms, bathrooms (not rated for zones 1-3), and home offices needing overhead illumination without intrusive fittings. The 400mm square footprint provides adequate light spread for rooms up to 12m². The flush mount fixes directly to a standard UK ceiling rose or junction box and the mirrored glass panels create subtle reflections that change depending on surrounding wall colours and daylight conditions.

The frosted white glass diffuser hides the bulbs from direct view when the light is on, preventing glare for anyone looking up at the ceiling. The mirrored panels are toughened glass with a polished chrome backing, giving a clean reflective surface that pairs well with modern, minimalist and Scandinavian interiors. The polished chrome trim around the perimeter holds the glass panels in place and adds a defined metallic edge. At 3kg the fitting requires secure ceiling fixing into joists or appropriate ceiling anchor points.

What bulbs does the Vito take?

The fitting takes two E27 (Edison screw) bulbs up to 60W each. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with warm-white LED bulbs between 6-10W and 2700K-3000K for general room lighting.

Is it suitable for low ceilings?

Yes. The 110mm projection from the ceiling makes the Vito a good choice for rooms with ceiling heights below 2.4m where a pendant light would hang too low. The flush mount design keeps the fitting close to the ceiling plane.

Can it be dimmed?

Dimming depends on the bulbs you fit. Use dimmable LED or halogen bulbs and pair them with a compatible trailing-edge dimmer switch. Standard non-dimmable LED bulbs will not work with a dimmer and may flicker or fail.

Is it suitable for bathrooms?

The Vito carries no IP rating and is not suitable for bathroom zones 1-3 (inside or directly above the bath/shower). It can be used in general bathroom areas outside the zones, where no direct water contact occurs.
