Description

The Violla is a 3-light flush ceiling light built from layered Opalflex petals in white, arranged around three E27 bulb fittings to form a domed sculptural shade. The Opalflex material is a technopolymer that holds its folded shape while remaining translucent, so when the bulbs are lit the entire fitting glows from within rather than just at the centre.

The flush mount sits close to the ceiling, making the Violla suitable for rooms with lower ceiling heights where a hanging pendant would feel oppressive. It works well in bedrooms, hallways, dressing rooms and smaller living spaces where ambient light is needed without an obvious fixture profile. Three E27 LED filament bulbs at 12W each (sold separately) give a combined output substantial enough to act as the primary light source in rooms up to around 12m².

The fitting measures 20cm in projection from the ceiling with a wider 78cm spread across the petals, and weighs 3kg. The folded Opalflex panels create depth and shadow even when the light is switched off, so the ceiling reads as textured rather than blank. The crisp white finish keeps the fitting visually quiet against white or pale ceilings while the sculptural form adds presence when viewed directly from below.

Wipe gently with a dry, soft microfibre cloth or a feather duster. The folded petals collect dust over time but the Opalflex material can be cleaned with a barely-damp cloth if needed. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
