Description
Our Vinia paper napkins come in a pack of 20. Each napkin is a 33cm by 33cm square of printed paper with plenty of character. One face carries a single flower, drawn in a loose, painterly hand on a centre panel and framed by a bold checked border. The other face swaps the flower for broad, even stripes, so a napkin looks finished whichever way up it lands. A fine pressed dot texture runs along the edges, and the whole design is multicoloured and cheerful, with enough contrast to read clearly from the far end of the table.
At 33cm square, these are the usual lunch napkin size. They are generous enough to lay across a lap at a relaxed meal and easy to fold into a neat triangle beside a plate. A napkin can sit under a slice of birthday cake, wrap a sandwich for a picnic or line a bread basket at the table. We would reach for them for garden lunches, weekend brunch, children's parties and the kind of supper with friends where cloth napkins feel like too much washing. Keep a pack in a kitchen drawer and the table is dressed in a minute.
They are made of paper. Like any paper napkin, they are meant for a single use and then cleared away with the plates, so there is nothing to wash, dry or iron afterwards. Paper folds crisply and holds a simple shape, which makes these easy to dress up a little: a fan in a glass, a roll tied with string, a triangle tucked under the cutlery. For styling, let the napkins carry the pattern on an otherwise plain table. Lay them flower side up for a relaxed spread, or fold each one so a band of stripe shows beneath the flower and the two designs sit together.

Frequently Asked
How big is each napkin?
Each napkin is 33cm long and 33cm wide. That is the usual lunch napkin size, big enough to lay across a lap at a casual meal.
How many napkins come in a pack?
There are 20 paper napkins in each pack, so a single pack covers a full table of guests with some to spare for spills.
Is the design the same on both sides?
No. One face shows a single flower on a centre panel inside a checked border, and the other face has broad stripes, so both sides are patterned.
What are the napkins made of?
They are made of paper and are meant for a single use, so there is no washing or ironing to do after the meal.
Can I use them with food?
Yes. They are suitable for use with food, so a napkin can sit under a slice of cake, wrap a sandwich or line a bread basket.
What colour are the napkins?
They are multicoloured. The flower, the checked border and the stripes each contrast with one another, so the pattern reads clearly on the table.
