Description

The Vienna is a five-light crystal wall chandelier finished in silver, with scrolled metal arms supporting clear K9 crystal bobeches, faceted pendalogue drops and beaded crystal garlands. A central column rises to a faceted crystal finial, with five candle-style holders set on curling arms around a sixth raised central light. Each arm takes an E12 candle bulb, with five fittings rated up to 60W (bulbs sold separately).

Designed as a wall-mounted version of a traditional crystal chandelier, the Vienna suits hallways, stairwell walls, dining room flanks and dressing rooms where a full ceiling chandelier would overpower the space. At 68.6cm tall and 55.9cm wide, with a projection of 20.3cm from the wall, it provides decorative sparkle and warm candle-style light without the drop and footprint of a hanging fixture. The 150cm cable allows flexibility in wiring back to the supply point.

The frame uses cast and pressed metal in a silver finish with detailed Rococo-style beading along each arm, referencing 18th-century French chandelier design. Clear K9 crystal pendalogues, octagonal beads and a faceted ball finial at the base catch and refract light from the candle bulbs above, throwing patterns onto the surrounding wall and ceiling. Total weight is 7.3kg, so a secure fixing into solid wall or noggin is required.

What bulbs does the Vienna take?

The chandelier takes 5 x E12 candelabra-base bulbs, each rated up to 60W. Bulbs are sold separately. Most buyers fit warm-white LED candle bulbs around 4-6W and 2700K to retain the candle-style glow while reducing heat and energy use.

Is it a wall light or a ceiling chandelier?

The Vienna is wall-mounted. It carries the silhouette and crystal detail of a traditional ceiling chandelier but fixes flush to a vertical wall, projecting 20.3cm outward. This makes it suited to hallways, stairwells and dining room walls where a hanging fixture would not fit.

Is it dimmable?

The fitting itself has no integrated electronics, so dimmability depends on the bulbs used and the dimmer switch installed. Pair dimmable LED candle bulbs with a compatible trailing-edge LED dimmer for smooth dimming.

How is it fixed to the wall?

The Vienna weighs 7.3kg and must be fixed into solid masonry or a stud/noggin behind plasterboard using appropriate fixings. We recommend installation by a qualified electrician, who will also wire the supply through the 150cm cable to a switched fused spur.
