Description

The Vienna is a two-tier 12-light crystal chandelier built on a sculpted gold metal frame, measuring 83.8cm in diameter and 104cm in height. A clear crystal central column links the upper crown to the lower body, where twelve scrolled arms carry E12 candle lamps above tiered cascades of faceted K9 crystal drops, kite-cut pendalogues and a finishing crystal ball.

Suited to formal dining rooms, double-height entrance halls, stairwells and hotel-style reception spaces with ceiling heights of 3m or more, the Vienna works as the primary decorative and ambient light source in the room. The 150cm cable allows the fitting to drop into open voids or be shortened on installation for standard 2.7-3m ceilings. With a total weight of 36.3kg, the ceiling fixing point must be rated to carry the load and is best installed by a qualified electrician.

The frame is finished in a warm antique-toned gold with raised scrollwork and rope-twist detailing along each arm, echoing 18th-century European chandelier design. K9 optical crystal is used throughout the drops and bobeches, giving high clarity and strong refraction under candle lamps. The combination of an upper crown of pendalogues, a mid-tier of kite drops and a lower skirt of teardrop crystals produces a layered light pattern when lit, with the 12 x 60W maximum lamp output providing substantial brightness for larger rooms.

What ceiling height does the Vienna need?

The fitting itself is 104cm tall, with a 150cm cable above. For visual proportion and clearance, a ceiling height of at least 3m is recommended, and the chandelier is best suited to double-height halls and stairwell voids where the full drop can be appreciated. The cable can be shortened on installation for lower ceilings.

What bulbs does it take?

The Vienna takes 12 x E12 candelabra-base bulbs, rated up to 60W each. Bulbs are sold separately. LED candle lamps in warm white (2700K-3000K) are typically used to mimic the glow of traditional candle lighting through the crystal.

How is it installed?

At 36.3kg total weight, the Vienna requires a structural ceiling fixing rated to carry the load and must be installed by a qualified electrician. The supply voltage range is 120V-220V, suitable for UK 230V mains. The chain can be adjusted on installation to set the final hanging height.

How is the crystal cleaned?

Isolate the circuit and allow the bulbs to cool before cleaning. Dust the K9 crystal drops with a soft microfibre cloth, or wipe individually with a barely-damp cloth and dry immediately to prevent watermarks. Avoid spraying any liquid directly onto the fitting and do not use abrasive or solvent-based cleaners on the gold frame.
